Avowed is an upcoming action role-playing video gamedeveloped by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Xbox Game Studios. If you remember Pillars of Eternity, Avowed will take place in the same universe, but it will be a different style of play in a new region, Eora.

How popular will Avowed be?
Xbox is very interested in Avowed hitting it big. Neither Starfield nor Redfall performed as well as expected, and Obsidian is a proven developer who has created some beautiful games. Fallout: New Vegas was a cult classic, and Avowed is a similar kind of play style. Avowed will likely be very popular with the Pillars of Eternity crowd and the Fallout: New Vegas crowd.
