The busyness of doctors and frontline workers amidst the treatment of the novel Coronavirus pandemic is a no-brainer. Dr. Anthony Fauci is the prime faculty for Trump’s government for this pandemic. Following his interview with CNN a few weeks ago, this Saturday saw Brad Pitt portraying Fauci for “SNL At Home.”
Dr. Anthony Fauci’s interest in being portrayed
Dr. Anthony Fauci is a respected figure among the prevailing “viral” scenario in the US. He has the prime voice for President Donald Trump’s regular updates on the Coronavirus. In an interview with CNN journalist Alisyn Camerota a few weeks ago, she asked Dr. Fauci if there’s anyone who would portray him.
Dr. Fauci gleamed in excitement, saying, “Oh, Brad Pitt. Of Course.”
“SNL At Home” surprised Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Dr. Anthony Fauci should be surprised to find his wish being telecast on SNL. SNL morphed into SNL At Home, starring Brad Pitt, portraying Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Brad Pitt wore a wig and a pair of spectacles, grabbing Fauci’s accent to explain Trump’s statements. Brad Pitt was off to an incredible start by thanking all the older women for being supportive and inspiring.
He alsodives into explaining what the President actually meantwhen he said about having a vaccine.
The sarcasm loaded SNL release.
“Good evening. I’m Dr. Anthony Fauci. First, I’d like to thank all the older women in America who have sent me supportive, inspiring, and sometimes graphic emails,” is how Pitt started.
Speaking of President Trump’s take on the sooner arrival of vaccines, he said, “Relatively soon is an interesting phase. Relative to the entire history of Earth? Sure. The vaccine’s gonna come real fast,” Pitt said.
“But if you were to tell a friend you’d be over relatively soon, and you showed up a year and a half later, well, your friend may be relatively pissed off.”
Brad Pitt initially thanks Fauci for his unambiguous information. He removes his props and says,” And to the real Dr. Fauci, thank you for your calm and your clarity in this unnerving time. Thank you to the medical workers, first responders, and their families, for being on the front line,”
