After years of anticipation, theGuardians of the Galaxyfranchise is finally coming to a close. Since the first installment was released back in 2014, the franchise has built up a massive fanbase. Starring Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, the third installment is slightly different from the first two.

Director James Gunn has introduced a slight change in tone, which was revealed when the soundtrack for the film was released recently. The film has shifted away from 80s pop music and has a more gritty, dark approach. The third installment of the franchise allows a deeper look into Rocket’s troublesome past. This development has had fans on edge with anticipation. After almost a decade, it feels as though the film has also grown along with the audience.
