The director for theOne Pieceseries and episodes, Aya Komaki will be leading the upcoming series from theDragon Ballfranchise. The animation director forDragon BallSuperandDigimonfranchise, Yoshitaka Yashima, will be working on this project alongside her in the same role.
Dragon Ball Daimaanime was announced to celebrate the occasion of the manga series’ 40th anniversary. The new series is set to follow a brand-new story focusing on Goku and Supreme Kai. It has been confirmed that the series will span for 24 episodes and is scheduled to drop in Fall 2024. Fans will be able to stream it on Crunchyroll.

One Piece’s director will be joining Dragon Ball Daima’s crew
AsDragon Ball Daimais scheduled to debut in the Fall of 2024, fans were curious about some information regarding the upcoming anime series. The show announced the primary crew members with the release of Shueisha’s V Jump Magazine.
One Pieceseries and episode director Aya Komaki will be directing the series, hence being posted as the series director forDragon Ball Daima.Dragon Ball SuperandDigimonfranchise animation director Yoshitaka Yashima will be joining her as well.
This is a massive deal for Aya Komaki as she has worked on renowned projects likeGegege no Kitarō, Marie & Gali,andRing ni Kakero. Therefore,Dragon Ball Daimawill make a fine addition to her portfolio.

Who are the crew for the upcoming Dragon Ball Daima series?

Other crew members for the upcomingDragon Ballseries were also revealed including talented names like Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru and Yuuko Kakihara. The former is known to have worked inDragon Ball ZandDigimonfranchise previously. They’ll be responsible for handling the character designs for animation.
Yuuko Kakihara has previously been part of projects likeDigimon AdventureTri. films, 2022Urusei Yatsura,andCells at Work!He will be supervising and writing the series scripts.
Son Goku will be voiced by Masako Nozawa which is great news for theDragon Ballfans. The Mangaka of the series, Akira Toriyama has been credited for the new series’ story and its character designs.
Fans must have seen the teaser for the upcoming series. There are still a lot of questions that are unanswered about the upcoming series. However, we’ll be getting new updates about the title at the nextDragon Ballgames battle hour, set to take place on January 27-28, 2024.
