We might have Dwayne Johnson in another Disney venture afterJungle CruiseandMoana.According to some reports, the ex-WWE fame and muscle monster might be a part of the sequel to one of the biggest Disney blockbusters. It might be the role of the Genie inAladdin 2which was played by theBad Boysstar Will Smith in the 2019 movie.

Soon after the whole Oscar controversy of Will Smith, the fans speculated the House of the Mouse might recast Genie in the sequel. Dwayne Johnson was one of the leading names that came up as a potential replacement in the sequel.

Is Dwayne Johnson going to be seen as Genie inAladdin 2?

Reports also stated that The Rock might also take over Johnny Depp in the future of thePirates of the Caribbeanfranchise.

But the rumor mill stopped when it was announced at the beginning of this year that Will Smith would return in the sequel. But this time, Giant Freakin Robot also stated in an exclusive report that we might see several Genies portrayed by big names besides Will Smith. Although the movie raised excitement aboutAladdin 2among the audience, some new developments point to a bleak future for the sequel.
