Lokibrought about an unprecedented change in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with its debut in 2021. AlongsideLoki,Elizabeth Olsen portrayed the role of Wanda Maximoff alongside Paul Bettany inWandaVision.

Being two very different series dealing with multiple realities and diverging timelines, the two MCU shows are more connected than seems to the eye. With Kang’s He Who Remains as the villain, it seems that Jonathan Majors will get his ultimate power through the help of Wanda Maximoff!
WandaVisionAndLokiAre More Connected Than It Seems!
To kick things off, Tom Hiddleston’s Loki was entangled with the Time Variance Authority aka TVA inLokiSeason 1. With Loki fighting off against the TVA, there was one more Avenger who was an even bigger threat than Loki.
Portraying the role of Wanda Maximoff inWandaVision,Elizabeth Olsenshocked the world when she created a different reality where time ran differently. Since the time ran differently there, the TVA had no choice but to hunt her down as a potential threat. With the technologies used by the TVA being created by Kang’s He Who Remains, the villain had to find a way to defeat Wanda Maximoff.

A fan took toRedditto talk about this awesome theory that connects the two series through a single Avenger and how she was too dangerous to be kept alive! With how Wanda can control the probability of an event (when she became the Scarlet Witch), it is quite a problem for Kang the Conqueror.

Since Kang is able to see all things in the future, if the Scarlet Witch were to appear in front of Kang, the villain would easily lose since Wanda can change the probability of an event making the future uncertain. Well, the theory states that Kang knew about Wanda’s diverted reality all along and he let it happen. Creating a plethora of variants of himself to fight the Scarlet Witch, Kang became more powerful in hopes of defeating Wanda Maximoff. Luckily for the villain, the Witch was allegedly already dead at the end ofDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

But What Does This Have To Do With Loki?

Well, since Kang created multiple variants of himself to kill Scarlet Witch, the variants went to waste. At the end ofLokiSeason 2, Tom Hiddleston holds the timeline in his hands, and from that emerges the Yggdrasil tree. So now, Loki is stuck with the Tree of Life in his palm and Kang the Conqueror is free to roam around with his multitude of variants to take over the world.

With the Scarlet Witch allegedly dead and Elizabeth Olsen potentially not making a return to the MCU, there is nothing stopping Jonathan Majors now. The new and upcoming Avengers have still a lot to learn and the only Avenger that might have been able to stop Kang lies dead in the MCU. This theory just proves how intelligent and strong Kang in his primal form is. What’s left to see is whether the theory was true or not and if it was then what about our beloved Wanda Maximoff?
