The hype train forStarfieldhas been building after the recent Starfield Direct presentation at this year’s Xbox Games Showcase, excitement for the game is at all time fever pitch. With an official release date of September 6, Bethesda’s next big IP is only a few months away. However, according to reports fromGame Rantfor those willing to cough up some extra credits, they will be able to accessStarfieldearly.

Across the Universe: How To Get Starfield Early?

If you haven’t guessed it already,  like most modern gamesStarfieldwill be getting an early access period starting on September 1, five days before the game’s ‘official’ release. However, this comes at a pretty pricy cost. The early access period is only granted to those who purchase the Constellation Edition of the game (for roughly £250/$300) or the Premium Edition (for about £100/$100).

Although these editions are expensive, for Uber fans of the game that five-day access period is a significant amount of time to get in and about the expansive universe ofStarfield. Also, this early access option is likely the best way to shield yourself from any spoilers that will be inevitably showing up all over social media in the lead-up to the game’s general release. In the end, it really comes down to how much each individual is willing to spend in order to get the freshest experience on launch day.

However, Game Rant also writes that there may be a cheaper way to get access to the game early; by playing on Xbox Game Pass. It is believed currently that if buy the Premium Edition Upgrade to access it early (for £34.99/$34.99) that you will be granted access to early access, as well as some free bonus cosmetics, for a fraction of the cost ofStarfield’sPremium Edition.
