Gal Gadot might have missed the opportunity to star in one of the biggest films of the year, but the actress has returned with her recent spy action thrillerHeart of Stone. The 38-year-old actress has shared that she has always been a fan of the genre and wanted to star in action thriller films following an international intelligence agent. And as the former military veteran continues to take such roles, fans have started to wonder if she could also challenge the UFC fighters inside the ring.

Gal Gadot Answers if She Could be in the UFC
Followed by a series of cameos in 2023,Gal Gadotfinally took the screen for herself in her latest feature,Heart of Stone. Tom Harper’s spy action thriller introduces Gadot as an international intelligence agent, Rachel Stone. The movie has received disappointing reviews, as critics described the lead character of the film as bland and generic.
However, many have still praised the action sequences in the movie, whether it is the opening sequence in the casino ski resort or the car chase through the streets of Lisbon. While it is not the first film Gadot has taken the stage to show off her moves, it has led fans to question if she would also join the UFC like herFast and Furiousco-starJohn Cena‘s rival Brock Lesnar.

Following a career in WWE, the professional wrestler, Lesnar signed with UFC in 2008. During her recent interview with GQ, Gadot also came across the question if she could be in the UFC. Considering her experience in the military and expertise in martial arts, fans believed that she could enter the UFC ring.
However, theFast and Furiousactress politely denied the possibility, saying,“I mean, let’s let the professionals do their thing. I will sit from the front row and cheer.”While fans might not see her in the UFC, Gadot would surely keep them entertained with her performance on the screen.

Gal Gadot has been quite open about her love for action movies. However, growing up, she always wondered why the genre did not have many women-led films. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actress shared that she is a huge fan of the movies under the genre and has always wanted to feature in such movies as well.
Although she has starred in several action movies, it wasn’t until her DC filmWonder Womanthat she realized that people do crave and love woman-centric action flicks.“I had an ‘aha!’ moment. I was like, ‘Wait a second, men go to see [women-led action films too]. We can [make more], so let’s do it,”she said.

The actress claimed that it was afterWonder Womanshe decided to work on an action thriller and started working on the Netflix original with her husband, Jaron Varsano. Apart from being its lead star, Gadot, and her husband have also producedHeart of Stoneunder her production company, Pilot Wave.
