So what’s Fort Solis about?

Fort Solis is set on Mars aboard an isolated mining facility, where players must investigate the missing crew, solving mysteries and making crucial discussions along the way, with the goal of escaping the compound. With the power of Unreal Engine 5, the game offers players a totally immersive experience in the dark reaches of space.

And the game itself is said to be inspired by titles such asUntil DawnandFirewatch,with the emphasis of immersion and narration. And with four chapters toFort Solis, players can choose either to binge them all in one sitting or choose to approach it like a Netflix series and play it episodically.

Fort Solis

James Tinsdale, Game Director at Fallen Leaf had the following to say on the upcoming game;

“We wanted Fort Solis to tell a story through a mix of interactivity and artistry

He went further on what players can expect from Fort Solis when it launches in a few weeks and he’s hoping that it could appeal to non-gamers also;

“Using state of the art mo-cap performances, high fidelity Unreal Engine 5 graphics, music by legendary composer Ted White, and our all-star cast of professional actors, we sought to create a truly immersive experience that grounds players in this sci-fi mystery. With our cinematic ‘story-first’ approach, we wanted to distill the essence of a sci-fi thriller into a format that anyone can play, including non-gamers.”

He is supported by a stellar cast which include, Troy Baker (The Last of Us, Death Stranding) and Julia Brown (The Last Kingdom, World on Fire). And Roger Clark has been quite vocal about the exciting new title on his Twitterpage.

And although Xbox players seem to be quite put out that they can’t get their hands on the game, the majority of comments have been of excitement for the upcoming title;
