Frieren and Fern’s Relationship in the Series
It is seen that Frieren takes Fern under her wing following the death of Heiter, the guardian who had adopted Fern. Due to her inexperience with people, Frieren initially appears to be having difficulty getting close to Fern. Nevertheless, as their journey continues, it becomes clear that Frieren cares a great deal for Fern.
