Jeff Loveness Assures Fans a BetterAvengersMovie

Marvel fans expected some harrowing consequences for Scott Lang inAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. However, they were unsatisfied to see the hero beat up the villain and escape the subatomic dimension. The writer ofQuantumania,Jeff Loveness, claims that fans can expect a tragic fate for some Marvel superheroes in the upcomingAvengersfilm.

He said,“I think for these bloodthirsty fans, there’s a little movie called Avengers: Kang Dynasty. I think he’ll bring the heat.”He also explained why he did not want to follow along with plans to kill the lead superhero in the threequel. Loveness said that no one would want to see the lead character die in their own movie or show.

Ant-Man and Kang the Conqueror

“I think people say they want that, but do you really want to see Paul Rudd get murdered in his third movie?”Jeff Loveness said. But that does not mean Ant-Man or other Avengers are safe from Kang the Conqueror, as he would not bring a very pleasing experience for them.

“But I wouldn’t worry too much about Kang’s kill count. He’s going to rack up some kills as he goes along,”Loveness shared.

Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror

The writer has hinted that the future faceoff between Avengers and Kang the Conqueror could leave fans devastated as they lose some of their favorite superheroes in a battle to save the world. And they might not come back with a snap this time.

Jeff Loveness Wanted to Avoid the Repetition of Events

TheAnt-Man 3trailer had fans expecting a massive fight between the hero and the villain. Fans expected the battle would have dire consequences, especially for Scott Lang. Many fan theories also suggested that Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man would either die or get trapped in the quantum realm himself.

The leaked draft of the film’s script also suggested that Ant-Man and the Wasp would be trapped in the Quantum Realm, and Kang would escape. However, things did not turn out the way fans expected

And everyone was able to get a happy ending to their journey to the microscopic subatomic dimension. While the original ending of the film had Scott and Hape trapped in the quantum realm, it was changed a month before the release of the film. Jeff Loveness, the writer ofAnt-Man 3,explained the reason for the alternate ending in his recent interview with Comicbook.

He said leaving the heroes in the quantum realms would be“just repeating the same beat from the second movie.”It would be interesting to see what Loveness has in store for the Avengers inThe Kang Dynastyand who would be able to survive the wrath of Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror.
