Based on the books created by Andrzej Sapkowski, Henry Cavill later parted ways with the franchise for several speculated reasons. A leaked script from a podcast alleged that Cavill was a misogynist who did not like to do n*de scenes and hence, he forced Netflix to intervene and fire him!

While the first season went by smoothly ofThe Witcher,Henry Cavill started developing problems and conflicts within the writer’s room. The actor reportedly left the franchise after completing the shooting of the third season due to a disagreement with showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich.

A video on YouTube alleged that Cavill was acting like a misogynist. The video stated that from a leaked script of theDeuxMoipodcast,Henry Cavillhad been a misogynist person on set and his gaming addiction got to a point where he would cause delays in filming! The video also stated that theMan of Steelactor allegedly became a misogynist and did not like to do n*de scenes at all.
“Henry Cavill had issues doing nude and shirtless scenes onThe Witcher set. Cavill did not wish to do any romantic scenes whatsoever. He decided on his own that he no longer wanted to do any shirtless scenes or scenes that involved kissing and n*dity in them.”

The video further continued,
“He was becoming more and more disrespectful towards women. It came to a point where he was allegedly ignoring and mistreating the women that were on the set. The showrunner then tried to push the actor to a point where he would want to leave the show, which made Netflix intervene and fire him.”

Although the video based its source on theDeuxMoipodcast, nothing has been confirmed yet as these statements remain mere rumors. The rumors are indeed bad but behind-the-scenes footage of the actor working onThe Witchercontradicts the statements made by the video.

In behind-the-scenes footage, Cavill was seen to be training really hard for an intense scene that he had to act in. The stunt coordinator Wolfgang Stegemann revealed to Entertainment Weekly that the actor would do about 90 takes before he finalized the shot.
“Henry is super precise and his passion is just outstanding. I love it so much because [Cavill] wants to have it perfect. When I was like, ‘That was great.’ He said, ‘Eh, let’s do one more.’”
