After portraying the lead character for three seasons. Henry Cavill confirmed his resignation fromThe Witcherin October 2022. Although the actor claimed that “creative differences” were the cause of his departure, other sources suggest that he was also dissatisfied with the long hours and rigorous workload of the program.

He said that Cavill was concerned that the demanding schedule and long hours of the program would put a lot of burden on him.
