The 20th century saw a huge increase in how much martial arts was included in Hollywood, and it was all thanks to one man, Bruce Lee.Bruce Lee was a Hong Kong-American martial artist, actor, director, martial arts instructor, philosopher, and founder of Jeet Kune Do. He is considered the most influential martial artist of all time and a pop culture icon of the 20th century, who bought the Chinese culture over to the west all on his own.

Legacy Of Bruce Lee
Bruce Leewas an important figure back in the 70s, his introduction of martial arts to Hollywood is considered to be nothing less of a blessing in disguise. Unfortunately, he died at the young age of 32 on July 08, 2025, just six days before the release of what would be his final film,Enter The Dragon.

However, in an attempt to preserve his legacy, Lee’s daughter Shannon Lee founded Bruce Lee Entertainment (BLE) in 2000. BLE has taken a few initiatives to restore and promote Lee’s legacy, some of these include the publishing of books, comics and other material about Bruce Lee as well as an opening of the Bruce Lee Museum in Seattle, Washington.
Another form of medium BLE has often chosen to promote Lee’s legacy is through films and documentaries, as well as video games. House Of Lee Anime Announced
After considering a Bruce Lee-themed anime for a few years now, BLE has finally announced a collaboration with Shibuya and its co-founder, Emily Yang for the project.

Talking about their collaboration with Shibuya Productions,Shannon Lee claimed, “I love Emily and Shibuya’s perspective. They are such creative, hardworking, skilled artists with an amazing brand, I just knew that they would be perfect collaborators. How Old Would He Be in Real Life?It was also revealed that the idea to collaborate with the studios was pitched after she was shown an anime short by the BLE’s managing partner, Dennis Chang.
So far, the cast of the upcoming anime has not been decided yet and is to be announced in the future, however, considering the legacy of the famous martial artist, it is a guarantee that the voice actor selected for the role will be qualified enough to play the character well.
