Dave Filoni, a famous writer, producer, and supervising director of bothClone Wars and Rebels,revealed a surprising fact. He said that the character Ashoka Tano almost appeared inStar Wars: Attack of the Clonesinstead ofStar Wars: The Clone Wars.
According to Ashoka Tano’s history, she was always going to be a Togruta, a member of the orange-skinned, blue-and-white head-tailed alien race. However, in the beginning, she was different, according to Filoni. She was called Ashla in the beginning. She was one of the young Jedi that Yoda was training. Also, she always had the look of a young Togruta girl.
Changes that would have occurred in Clone Wars due to Ashoka.
According to Davis Filoni, Ashoka Tano becomes a Padawan at the age of 14. There was a clear gap of three years betweenStar Wars: Attack of the ClonesandStar Wars: The Clone Wars.
Whereas the girl Ashla appeared to be around 4 to 5 years old in the former movie. Ashla would have been too young for the series, and that would also have affected the storyline.
