Once those are made, following the above steps will link both of those accounts together. Alternatively, you may also link up your accounts by selecting ‘Game Base’ from the PS5 control center toolbar and navigating to the Discord icon.
After selecting the Discord icon for the first time, you will prompted to link your account in the same process as when going through the console settings. While both methods do the same job, linking accounts straight from Game Base can speed up the linking process.

Once you’re accounts are linked, voice calling friends individually, or joining the voice channels on your existing Discord servers, is a breeze. you’re able to access your Discord friends, and channels, by selecting the Game Base icon on the PS5 control center.
Here, navigating to and selecting the Discord icon on the left-hand side will reveal the list of all the channels you’re currently a member of. If instead, you want to call a friend directly, selecting ‘Direct Voice Chats’ will reveal all your most recent chat history, the same way as on the desktop app.
