WhileTom Cruiseis one of the highest-paid actors in all of Hollywood, Scarlett Johansson is one of the highest-paid actors in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, irrespective of their pay, both are highly wanted and loved stars of Hollywood. Their brilliant acting skills along with their fearless personalities make them one of the top-rated stars of all time.
Recently, theBlack Widowactress has revealed how much she would‘love’to work with theMission Impossiblestar Tom Cruise, claiming he’s one of the actors who she hasn’t worked with yet and would like to work with in the future. At the recent premiere of her movieAsteroid Cityin NYC, the 38-year-old actress said,
“I’d love to work with Tom Cruise.”
Scarlett Johansson also added how she would really like it if someone should cast them together as co-stars in her next movie.
Tom Cruise, on the other hand, agrees with theBlack Widowstar. During his recent movie premiereMission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Onein Rome, the actor smiled when asked if he wanted to star with Johansson, saying,
“She’s amazing [Scarlett Johansson]. There’s a great actress and a movie star.”
Furthermore, when asked if he planned to be on board to star opposite Johansson in a movie anytime soon, theMission Impossibleactor responded immediately by saying,
“Yes. It’s gonna happen. Look, I’ve watched her career her whole life. She’s enormously talented, very charismatic. It’d be fun. She could do everything. She could do comedy, drama, action, suspense. She’s someone that really draws you in on the screen, on camera. So absolutely, it’s gonna happen.”
While both the stars have confirmed their opinions of starring opposite each other, the fact that whether it will come true or not remains a mystery for now, at least.

Scarlett Johansson Sued Disney Regarding HerBlack WidowPayday
WhileScarlett Johanssonis one of the highest-paid stars of MCU, however, according to reports, theBlack Widowstar is said to have sued Disney in July 2022, at the Los Angeles Superior Court.
In the lawsuit filed by the actress, Scarlett Johansson alleged Disney, which is the owner of Marvel Studios, had deliberately hindered the movieBlack Widow‘s potential success at the box office to promote the growth of its emerging Disney+ streaming service. Disney, meanwhile, countered the claim by highlighting the fact that Johansson was paid $20M in compensation for her contribution to the movie.
After a lot of controversy, however, this lawsuit too seems to have settled down. Recently, reports have come up stating that the lawsuit between Disney and Johansson has been settled with a breach of contract.
While the terms of the deal have not been disclosed, what’s appealing is that both Disney as well as Scarlett Johansson have agreed on the terms and conditions, and are looking forward to working together on numerous upcoming projects, including Disney’sTower of Terror.
