Lawrence finally broke her silence on the matter and confirmed that she had never been with Liam Hemsworth while he was still with Cyrus. However, she did add that the two did kiss off-screen one time. That was also during a time when he and the singer were long broken up. She also claimed that she believed the entire dress incident to be merely coincidental. Lawrence also stated that there was nothing between her and Hemsworth throughout his time with Miley Cyrus. By the end of it, she stood by her answer of confirming the rumor to be untrue.
