WWE is home to the giants and heroes that we had all come to love since our childhoods. From watching The Deadman Undertaker feud with his scripted brother Kane on several haunting occasions to watching The Nature Boy Ric Flair illuminate the arena with his dazzle and panache, we have come a long way. Even when we grow out of that phase, there is still one thing that always reminds us of the good old days of WWE, which is, of course, the unforgettable rivalries and epic battles between the WWE superstars.

One such feud that is still considered to be one of the pulse-pounding and heated disputes between superstars has to be between The Rock and John Cena.
In an interview, when asked about whether this feud was real or not,Black Adamstar Dwayne Johnson revealed that he and John Cena had actual issues with one another, which lead them to battle it out inside the WWE ring.

Why Dwayne Johnson Hated John Cena
During an interview onWatch What Happens Live! With Andy Cohen,Dwyane Johnsonwas asked whether he would like to work withJohn Cenain the future or if they were still sour with each other, to which The Rock replied, saying that he would love to work with John Cena in the future. He also elaborated on the incident that kicked off one of the biggest rivalries that had been brought to the ring in the WWE.
In an interview with The Sun in 2008, Cena was posed with the question of how he felt about The Rock. He was very considerate about Dwayne Johnson’s situation and his decision to transfer jobs and move toward Hollywood. But then, John Cena said that there was one thing that pissed him off about Johnson’s way of putting things and substantiating his reasons for the shift from professional wrestling into films.

“He’s a very good actor, he’s very successful, he’s done very well for himself and associating with sports entertainment doesn’t do much for his acting career. It only helps out the sports entertainment audience so I get why he doesn’t come back.Just don’t f*** me around and tell me that you love this when you are just doing this to do something else. That’s the only thing that gets me really pissed off. Being on the other side I learned how much of their hard-earned dollars are spent on our product. And to have that much admiration still, when he hasn’t been around, hasn’t been on TV, you gotta respect that from our fanbase and he just doesn’t give anything back, man. I wish he’d just show up, just say “Hi” and leave, it’s all he’s gotta do. “
The Rock revealed that he was on his way to making an appearance in the WWE ring once again when he happened to listen to whatThe Peacemakeractor had to say, and he didn’t like how he put it. None could’ve even suspected that this was just the start of one of the biggest and most realistic fights in WWE history. On the night ofWrestleMania 28, The Rock secured a victory over John Cena by pinning him in the ring and proving once and for all the Bhrama Bull still raged the same.

How Do Dwayne Johnson And John Cena Feel About Each Other Now?
After their feud ended in the ring on the night ofWrestleMania 28, both Dwayne Johnson and John Cena have come a long way, making u with each other and even calling each other their friend. Time and time again, whenever asked about what they feel about each other, they always reply with their bond of friendship and respect for being one and the same, just two different people living in two different bodies, but living similar lives.
This all ties to the age-old saying about how yesterday’s enemy can become tomorrow’s ally.
