Cameron Diaz’s privacy is her number one priority
TheBad Teacheractress Cameron Diaz gracedKevin Hart’s talk showHart to Heart. The comedian and actor asked her about leaving the industry when she was at the peak of her career. Kevin Hart said,
“You decide to walk away I know that you’re in love with motherhood I know she said I kinda miss it you said I kind of miss it sometimes.”
Cameron Diazreplied,
“I don’t actually ever. In a way, I think about whether or not I would do it again, just to remind me that I don’t want to.”
She added,
“This is my problem, I was so reluctant to dip back. Now with my wine, I try to engage as much as possible, but I just really have zero interest in sharing my life with people.”
She shared that she does not have an interest in sharing her life on social media, even if it impacts her business. She added,
“Our marketing gals, who are social media gals, they’re amazing and they understand it. They get how to make this work, and they’ll be like how about if we, I’m like nope.”
Kevin Hart appreciated the fact that she prioritizes privacy in her personal life.

Cameron Diaz talks about her wine business
The actress left acting after her 2014 film,Annie. Years later, the actress decided to make her own wine and started her business with entrepreneur Katherine Power. They debuted their wine line, namedAvaline, in July 2020, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Within two years into their business, their wines are already selling in 5,000 retail locations in the US.
In conversation withBazaar, the former actress revealed the reason for starting the venture,
“We really made it for consumers like ourselves. Our first step with Avaline was to create a wine that had the standards of winemaking that we wanted, but also to really just speak to the customer who values that in what they consume—like us.”
“We’ve built a team around the two juxtapositions, like the old world of the wine and the new world of the social media, to really make it a fresh beginning for wine marketing for our generation, for our consumers.”
The company launched in May 2020, and as perImpact and Innovation, the valuation of the company was $57 million in 2021. The company has received a total funding of $9.5 million.
