Reportedly, Murray did not get along with Liu on set, criticizing her lack of acting skills and she landed a punch at Murray, leading to an ugly spat between them. Lucy Liu Does Not Regret Standing Up For Herself Against Bill Murray
Lucy Liurecently reflected on her altercation with Bill Murray onCharlie’s Angels. The actress appeared on theAsian Enough Podcastand talked extensively about how she stood up for herself against Murray’s insults and does not regret her actions one bit. She said,
“Some of the language was inexcusable and unacceptable, and I was not going to just sit there and take it. So, yes, I stood up for myself, and I don’t regret it. Because no matter how low on the totem pole you may be or wherever you came from, there’s no need to condescend or to put other people down. And I would not stand down, and nor should I have.”
