Tom Holland made a name for himself as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and his journey began back in 2016 withCaptain America: Civil War. Holland gave the world a kind of Spider-Man and Peter Parker that fans had been demanding for years.
Unfortunately, the Marvel Cinematic Universe isn’t what it used to be, especially when Tom Holland had just joined the franchise. After all, fans and critics alike have grown tired of Marvel’s formulaic films now.

What Has Tom Holland Done In The MCU?
As already stated above,Tom Hollanddebuted inCaptain America: Civil Warand now has starred in three feature films as the webslinger. It all began with 2017’sSpider-Man: Homecoming, which gave fans a proper look at Tom Holland. Needless to say, they were in love with Holland’s portrayal of the beloved Marvel character.

He then went on to play pivotal roles inAvengers: Infinity WarandAvengers: Endgame, showcasing a lot of character development and coming to grips with Tony Stark’s demise. It all came afront inSpider-Man: Far From Homeas his life as Peter Parker came to an end.
Finally, the multiverse truly expanded asSpider-Man: No Way Homemade its way to the theaters, bringing back Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man characters, as they all teamed up against their familiar foes. However, Tom Holland’s actions, in the end, ended up erasing him from everyone’s memory as a sacrifice.
Tom Holland Finally Addressed Being A Part OfSpider-Man 4
After the events ofSpider-Man: No Way Home, quite a few shows and films have been made, with a couple of references to what Peter Parker did in the end. However, fans still wonder if they’ll ever see aSpider-Man 4.
While speaking toCollider, Tom Holland was asked about whether aSpider-Man 4will ever be made. TheSpider-Manactor made it clear that he won’t make another film in the series unless it is worth the while of the character.
”All I can say is that we have been actively engaging in conversations about what it could potentially look like for a fourth rendition of my character. Whether or not we can find a way to do justice to the character is another thing. I feel very protective over Spider-Man. I feel very, very lucky that we were able to work on a franchise that got better with each movie, that got more successful with each movie, which I think is really rare, and I want to protect his legacy. So, I won’t make another one for the sake of making another one. It will have to be worth the while of the character.”
The Marvel Cinematic Universe already has several movies and TV shows planned for the next couple of years, so there won’t be any dearth of content for the foreseeable future. Whether or not Tom Holland will be part of them is a different conversation entirely.
