The youngest hero of the group, Ms. Marvel managed to keep her calm amid rising tension. Whereas, the other two adult heroes in the group, Captain Marvel and Monica Rambeau, held past grudges against one another whilst on a space mission. That could have jeopardized the whole mission.
2. The glue that kept The Marvels unified
Vellani rightly pointed out that even though Kamala found herself in between two adult women who had a bad history, she did not panic. Ms. Marvel kept them together and in Vellani’s words,
“Even though she is much younger, she’s very much the glue of the group.”

“She’s standing between the tension of two grown women, adult women, and they have years of history and experience under their belts, yet she doesn’t shy away from giving her opinion.”

“She doesn’t shy away from making the tough call, making choices under pressure, and I think that’s something I really love about Kamala.”
Kamala’s inexperience does not hinder her superhero responsibilities while Captain Marvel and Rambeau are already established in the superhero world.

The most unique aspect of Vellani’s character is that she understands humans. Kamala leans more toward the human race than her superhero world.
