After helping Carol Danvers and Monica Rambeau defeat Kree leader Dar-Benn,Iman Vellani‘s Ms. Marvel channels her inner Nick Fury to set out on a mission to assemble a team of young superheroes, Young Avengers.

She pays a visit to Kate Bishop’s (Hailee Steinfeld) apartment and tells her about her plan. During their conversation, they also mention Ant-Man’s daughter Cassie Lang. The scene ends with Kate giving a smirk to Kamala asking,“Are you on board? Please?”
The idea of a Young Avengers movie has opened floodgates of suggestions about different characters who could be recruited to progress the story which has spelled great results in the world of Marvel Comics. Even Vellani has joined this discussion, revealing she’d love to see her character, Ms. Marvel join hands with America Chavez and Elijah Bradley (Patriot). She toldScreen Rant:

“I just want to see them interact. I think they’ve left so many of the younger character stories open-ended, and to see fans start shipping people together, it would be something like, I want to see Kamala interact with America. I want to see Kamala interact with Patriot, I don’t know.”
Marvel fans got acquainted with America Chavez inDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Doctor Strange teams up with her from his dreams to battle multiple threats. She’s a girl hailing from the Utopian Parallel with the ability to travel the Multiverse. However, Patriot has so far remained out of the limelight in the MCU.

Elijah Bradley, who goes on to become Patriot, appears in the 2021 television seriesThe Falcon and the Winter Soldier. However, the character had a little role in the Anthony Mackie-ledCaptain Americaseries.
However, in the comics, Patriot, the grandson of the black Captain America, is a very prominent member of Young Avengers, which has been assembled by Vision instead of MCU’s Kamala.
His superhuman abilities enhanced after a blood transfusion from his grandfathers while he was trying to save his life. Before that, he was taking Mutant Growth Hormone to fight crime. Whether Marvel writers will take the same path to give Elijah Richardson’s character his powers in the MCU remains unknown for now.
