TheMad Max: Fury Roadactress revealed that it’s actually hard for her to cry but she loved the approach taken by50/50.

“It’s all hard for me to cry. I mean, I cry from laughter. The last film that I saw that did that to me was 50/50.”

Adding more to the topic of emotional movies, Charlize Theron also spoke about the kind of emotional movies she loves to watch.

“I love movies that can kind of like catch you off-guard, and you’re emotionally crying and then they just kind of sucker punch you and you’re like snotty laughing crying. I love those cries. Those are my favourite cries like, but yeah I’m a bit of a sap for sure, I’d be the first one to admit it.”

The movie starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen, and Bryce Dallas Howard welcomed worldwide praise after its release.50/50garnered $41 million on a mere budget of $8 million and Gordon-Levitt’s performance brought wide appreciation. “For me to watch Black Panther as the person I am—and I know this sounds crazy to a lot of people—but it is a very emotional thing, it was a very emotional thing for me to watch it, I was born and raised in South Africa during the apartheid era, and I am very much a white African who lived and thrived under tremendously dark circumstances. And that really marks you as a person. Whether that’s your ideology or not, you’re living in it.”

Charlize Theron had come a long way as she has bagged a huge collection of honorary rewards along with an Academy Award in 2004 forMonster.The 47-year-old played the role of a real-life serial killer Aileen Wuornosin the Patty Jenkins directorial. Besides that, she has also bagged more than 60 wins in different categories of awards.
