In an interview withComicbook.com, Eddie Marson talked about a potential third installment in theSherlock Holmesseries. For the unversed, Marson played Inspector Lestrade in bothSherlock HolmesandSherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.Stating whether he has been approached for a potential movie inSherlock Holmessaga, he replied,
“I don’t know. I keep hearing, I just did a movie with Jude[Law], and neither – no one’s approached either of us.”
He further talked about the intense rumors that continued to stay prominent in the entertainment world regardingSherlock Holmes 3.
“I don’t know, they keep talking about it and talking about it and it’s been 10, I think it’s been over 10 years, 12 years now. I don’t know. I don’t know. I hope so … hope so.”
He praised his period flick co-star, Jude Law for his performance and further added that he would be down to reprise his role in the third movie.
“I think I think Jude was fantastic. I’d be up for doing another one so we’ll see.”
