The series had first been announced as an Addams Family spin-off and had since then taken a route revolving around the daughter, Wednesday Addams.

Wednesday Brings Out A New Story To The Addams Family
Focusing on the daughter of Morticia and Gomez Addams, Wednesday Addams takes on a journey to learn more about her psychic powers, excelling at them and at the same time going up against a monstrous killing spree within the town. The show also focuses on Wednesday trying to understand the anomaly that affected her family decades ago.
The Addams Familyhas had multiple projects, both live in action and animated,Wednesdaybeing the latest in line for the film series.
The comedy series starsJenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, and many more. By the looks of it, the cast only gets bigger with the addition of legendary comedian Fred Armisen.

Being cast onWednesday,his look is completely unrecognizable, with prosthetics and makeup turning him into a new person altogether.
“They really did such a great job with the makeup and everything. I had no eyebrows. It was prosthetics over my eyebrows to give me that look. But I think that bald caps don’t look great all the time, so I was hoping to just make it that much more convincing.”

Rumors of the role of Fester had been circulating for a long time, and speculations of Johnny Depp being casted in the role were also being made, however, that is not the case as Fred Armisen is Fester onWednesday.Wednesday and Fester are meant to team up against the foes they would be facing in the show, while the latter also would seem to be on the run from something.
Ever since the trailer was released, the fans have been overjoyed with the news of the casting. Stating that they could not have found anyone better.
