Last week Hasbro made a statement in regards to wanting the originalTransformersgames from the Xbox 360 era, to which they released a statement saying that they have attempted to get these classic games added to Game Pass from developer Activision, but at the time of the statement Hasbro were under the impression that Activision had lost the hard drives that stored these games meaning that until they merge with Microsoft, they will not find these hard drives, it turns out this comment was inaccurate.

What has changed in regard to this information?

A week after this statement was released by Hasbro, they have now released a new statement saying that “To clarify, comments that suggest Transformers games have been lost were made in error,” and are yet to give any reasoning behind this statement, but many gamers believe that it was just down to a miscommunication between Hasbro and Activision and hopefully won’t affect their relationship in the future as many gamers would look forward to replaying the classicTransformergames.

For now, Activision hasn’t made a response to this statement, but from what we believe, there isn’t any hard feelings from their previous statement, and to help keep the friendship alive, Hasbro has also said, “We apologise to Activision and regret any confusion – they’ve been great partners, and we look forward to future opportunities to work together.” which is a good sign for future content from Activision in collaboration with Hasbro.

What Transformer games are currently being held at Activision?

At the moment, there are only four different games that are currently being held on Activision’s hard drives, and those are;Transformers: Devastation, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark, andTransformers: War for Cybertronand even though these games aren’t currently on Game Pass they can still be bought as hard copies and played through backwards compatibility.

So far, there has been a lot of interest in getting these games back on Xbox consoles over the past few months, especially after the release of the new Transformer film and the upcoming release of their free-to-play game, which is still in development.
