Lies of P Hits One Million Sales
Lies of Phas reached the one million sales milestone in under a month and it comes after the game received very positive reviews from both fans and critics alike for its unique take on the tale ofPinocchio.

The game has managed to hit the one million mark in less than a month which had some big releases such asStarfield. Talking about the game and the one million sales landmark, Seungchul Kim, co-CEO of Neowiz stated:

This incredible milestone for Lies of P proves the potential of Korean console games on the global stage. The Lies of P project was a challenging endeavor for NEOWIZ and Round8 Studio, and we take great pride in what we achieved with this title.
Lies of Pis inspired by the story of Pinocchio and takes place in the Belle Époque-inspired city of Krat. It has an amazing storyline, deep combat mechanics, character customization systems, and much more for an exciting gaming experience.

The game has a Metascore of 80 on PlayStation 5, 83 on PC, and 84 on Xbox Series X|S on Metacritic with 89% positive review scores on Steam. Jiwon Choi, Director of Lies of P commented on the game’s success:
The reception has been incredible so far, and we are beyond thankful that over 1 million players have already embarked on their journey through Krat. Likewise, we are excited for what the future holds for Lies of P, and can’t wait to share more when the time is right.
The game has been a profound success and the DLC is also seemingly confirmed via a job posting saying DLC is planned for production so it could already be in development.
Even though there has been no official confirmation from Neowiz or the developer, fans believe it is coming soon and the not-so-subtle post-credits scene in the game showing Dorothy fromThe Wizard of Ozmight have just confirmed it.
The game has been well received by fans and critics alike and although some players found the game hard, developers quickly jumped on that and released a patch making the game easy. The developers have continued to bring updates to improve the game since the launch and that has resonated well with the players.
Lies of Pby far deserves the success it has achieved coming from a developer who is relatively unknown, especially in this genre and it could bring something more exciting to players going forward.
Round8 has previously said that it will announce the roadmap forLies of Pcontent as soon as it is ready so it remains to be seen whether players will get a DLC or a sequel.
