Although this has been a very underrated topic and is often not highlighted, Gege has taken inspiration for Ryomen Sukuna from none other than Gilgamesh.

They share similar personalities and have a human they prefer, Megumi in Sukuna’s case and Kirei for Gilgamesh.Gilgamesh and Enkidu’s friendship parallels the Geto and Gojo relationship in Jujutsu Kaisen.
Marble is a concept similar toJujutsu Kaisendomain expansion, and viewers can quickly draw similarities between them, which might be the source of inspiration for the broken technique fromJujutsu Kaisen.

In the anime, the breaking point for Itadori arrives after he witnesses the deaths of Nobara and Nanami at the hands of Mahito, a curse he hates the most.
With Gojo now sealed, the balance of the world has collapsed, and the testament to this can be the Shibuya massacre that Sukuna caused to prove his superiority.
On the other hand, in the manga, the series has taken a turn from which it might never come back, with the death of the strongest jujutsu sorcerer, Gojo Satoru.
Sukuna has also unveiled his final form and is currently engaged in a duel with Itadori, who is out for blood after Sukuna took away all the people he loved.
