Having roped inGuardians of the Galaxytrilogy director James Gunn to oversee the rebooted DC Universe, DC Studios have now seemingly set their sights on adding more former Marvel talents for their new slate of entries.

Nicholas Hoult, who portrayed Marvel Comics’ Beast, has been signed on to play Lex Luthor andSuperman: Legacy.Guardians of the Galaxytrilogy star Sean Gunn, who played former Ravager Kraglin Obfonteri, is also joining the DCU as evil businessman Maxwell Lord. In recent weeks, Marvel Cinematic Universe alums Pom Klementieff and Miriam Shor have also been linked withSuperman: Legacy.

WhichGuardians of the Galaxy Vol 3Star Is Joining James Gunn’sSuperman: LegacyCast?
Pom Klementieff, who portrayed Mantis inAvengers: Infinity War,Avengers: Endgame, andGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3among others, was reported to be playing an undisclosed role inSuperman: Legacyearlier this week.
However, DC Studios Co-CEOJames Gunntook toThreadsto clarify that no such discussions have taken place. He wrote:

“Despite Pom being one of my favorite actors to work with, this is 100% not true. Not only is Pom not in the movie, but no one has ever even discussed her being in the movie, nor do I have any idea what role she would possibly play.”
The Hollywood Reporterupdated their previous story, and now they claim thatMiriam Shoris in talks to join the ever-growing cast ofSuperman: Legacy.Shor has also worked with Gunn previously, portraying Vim inGOTG Vol 3.

Vim was a recorder for the High Evolutionary. She meets a tragic fate in the movie during her attempts to start a mutiny against the High Evolutionary.
It was earlier believed (viaGeek Vibes Nation) that Shor has been cast as the head of the CIA in the David Corenswet starrer. However, there’s a new update on that front as well.

What James Gunn Said About Claims of Miriam Shor JoiningSuperman: Legacy
Gunn shared the report concerning Shor’s entry into the DCU in his Instagram stories and denied her casting, too. Interestingly, in Shor’s case, Gunn did note that he would love to find a place for her inSuperman: Legacy.
In The Hollywood Reporter’s latest story, Shor’s role wasn’t specified. The 52-year-old was most recently seen in Bradley Cooper’sMaestro,a musical fantasy that has attracted a number of Golden Globe nominations.
Meanwhile, Gunn also suggested in a separateThreadspost that he has discussed a specific role with Klementieff, but that has nothing to do withSuperman: Legacy.
