Now, Josh Brolin who played the role of Thanos inInfinity Sagahas come forward to explain the 2004 Diane Lane domestic abuse situation.

Initially, Josh Brolin and Diane Lane met on the sets ofThe Road Killers. But their romance started after their meet at the premiere party ofA Beautiful Mind. In the year 2004, after dating for almost one year the couple exchanged vows in a wedding ceremony conducted in Los Angeles. The ex-couple included their children from respective husbands in the ceremony as well. After tieing knots in August of 2004, in December Brolin was arrested for the charges of spousal battery. He was accused of hitting his newly wedded wife as she directly called the LAPD. The couple’s reps spoke to The New York Daily News to set the record straight about what actually happened at the residence and why Brolin was arrested.
“There was a misunderstanding at their home. … [The arrest was] for the lowest-end misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. … Diane did not want to press charges and asked them not to arrest him, but in cases involving the possibility of any physical contact, the police have to arrest first, ask questions later.”

After theSicarioactor posted bail of $20000 and came back home, the ex-couple were “embarrassed” as to where this situation led them too. Further too, Brolin was arrested again with five others in the year 2009 for a morning bar fight.

Josh Brolin Breaks Silence On 2004 Domestic Abuse Controversy
In the year 2013,Diane LaneandJosh Brolindecided to call it quits ending the 8-year marriage. In the same year, Brolin fell in love with Kathryn Boyd on the sets ofOldboy. After the shooting came to an end they started dating each other and in 2016 tied the knot. Well even though, he now has a happy married life with Boyd. Once he gave his take on the controversial 2004 issue of domestic abuse.

TheGangster Squadactor sat down with The New York Times and gave his take on the 2004 situation after being silent for years. As he thinks people should know what happened exactly that day.
“I was more reactive, I was more, ‘People need to know the truth,’ ” Brolin said of his initial reaction to the incident. “Whatever I say [now] is going to sound like compensation for a perpetrator. I’ve gotten to a place where all that matters is that I have control over my behavior, and at that time, it was a little more chaotic.”

Speaking of Jonathan Majors, his charges of abuse have raised concerns in fans’ minds about his future at Marvel. As of now Majors is out of custody and have denied claims of assaulting his girlfriend.
