What are we going to see with the PSPlus games for August?
First up is one for Golf fans who can step into the shoes of players in the PGA and test their skills while competing for the coveted FedEx Cup, in the official PGA gamePGA2K23. And for the first time ever, players can now choose between male and female pros, including Tiger Woods and Brooke Henderson. (About time they came into the 21st Century).
Players can compete either online or with local play, running online societies where you may manage tournaments and seasons. Or if you prefer, why not challenge your friends in Divot Derby or Casual Mode. With all the official gear, players can tailor their look to suit themselves and with Course Designer, can create their own personal course.

Sony’s own titleDreamshas been described as ‘an extraordinary, ever-expanding game universe’ and comes from the award winning creators ofLittleBigPlanet, Media Molecule. First launched in 2020,Dreamssees the studio continue with their ethos of Play, Create & Share and means that players can put their creativity to good use. Ideas can be brought to life with easy to use tools then shared with a global community. WithDreams, anything is possible!
The last title on the list of PSPlus games for August is one that is a pretty dark action-adventure which has a comedic element to it.Death’s Doorlaunched back in 2021 and sees players having to overcome beasts and demigods with the help of melee weapons and magic. Encountering weird and wonderful characters along the way, players can gain an edge by customisation of character stats and mastering upgrades and abilities which can be found throughout their journey.

Reviews ofDeath’s Doorhave been positive since it was released, with most reviewers scoring the game 9/10. One review ofDeath’s Doorstated the following;

So whilst the PSPlus Games for August have been revealed, that means there’s only a short time to collect the titles forJuly. And there’s some awesome games in there if you haven’t seen them already.Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War,Alan Wake RemasteredandEndling – Extinction is Foreverare available for the next few days before the new games drop on August 1.
