In a recent copyright filing for their upcoming TV seriesIronheartfeaturingDominique Thorneas the titular superhero, it was revealed thatThe Dictatorstar will also be a part of it. It wasn’t confirmed what role he would be playing in the show as his role was just listed as Mystery Man, obviously to hide his character’s identity.
Since it’s still unclear what his involvement in the series might be, there has been a lot of speculation surrounding it, and most of them point to a rumor from the past.
Even before Marvel Studios filed the copyright, it was rumored that Cohen may appear in the MCU as Mephisto, the equivalent of The Devil in Marvel Comics. And now, since it has been officially confirmed, the flames of these rumors have reignited with more intensity.
While it’s anyone’s guess what a mystical being would be doing in a show filled to the brim with technology, one has to remember this is the MCU, where everything is connected.

While it was first assumed that he would make his MCU appearance in WandaVision considering the lore, it seems he will be surprising us in the future withIronheart.
