One of the most important things about big-budget franchises is their well-kept secrets. Protected behind closed doors and sworn to remain tight-lipped by the actors promoting the movies, the MCU and other franchises try to maintain their secrecy. But at times information slips out as a mistake.

Taking the example of Samuel L. Jackson’sStar Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith, the actor once gave away the fate of his character to his audiences. Revealing the death of his character Mace Windu, during interviews, Jackson somehow managed to get away with it, since it happened before the rise of social media.

Samuel L. Jackson Gave Away a MajorStar WarsSecret
Way before Samuel L. Jackson joined MCU as Nick Fury, the actor was associated with the billion-dollarStar Warsfranchise. Being an integral part of the 2005 movieStar Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith, the actor played the role of Mace Windu. But unfortunately in the movie, the actor faced a heartbreaking demise.
Many important characters in theStar Warsfranchise met their conclusion in the 2005 installment. Samuel L. Jackson’s character Mace Windu was one of the characters who died in the movie, after Emperor Palpatine revealed his true intentions and Anakin cut off his arm, betraying him.

Certainly, the death of a character from a big-budget and renowned franchise is always heartbreaking and shocking for audiences. But not if, it’s spoiled beforehand. Apparently, Samuel L. Jackson did something similar when he channeled his inner Mark Ruffalo and Tom Holland during interviews and gave out the secret.

Samuel L. Jackson Still Managed To Get Away With It
According toWhatCulture, the actor mistakenly revealed his character’s death during magazine interviews. As per reports Samuel L. Jackson dropped the spoilers when he was asked about his favorite moments from the movie and he replied that watching his character die was his favorite moment.
But unlike recent times, it happened back in 2005 when social media was on the rise and had little to no opportunity to spoil things by spreading the information. Apart from that, Samuel L Jackson revealed the secret during a magazine interview, which made it even harder for the majority of people to skim through pages and find the secret.

Therefore, luckily no harm was done to the movie, despite the actor spilling beans about his character’s death. Upon watching the movie, audiences were just as surprised as they were supposed to be. Although many fans had guessed that Jackson wouldn’t make it out alive in the movie, no one got hold of the spoiler.
