Find Eogan and Talk to Him
you may find Eogan at the top of the tower in Horns of the South fortress. Start from the back of the fortress and make your way to the tower. As you ascend the wooden stairs, take the path on the right side instead of continuing upstairs. Following the right side wooden path takes you to a rooftop garden, maintained by Eogan. While talking with him, you will find Eogan is mysterious and not social. He also mentions that Ruairc is his best friend, which leads you to the next objective of the quest.
Learn About Eogan From Ruairc
Since Eogan is reluctant to talk, you may only learn more about him from his only friend. Head to the fortress Kitchen and ask Ruairc about Eogan. He reveals that Eogan is a revolutionary, but he gave up all his ideas due to the politics of the Captains. After learning about Eogan’s background information, return to him at the rooftop garden.
Plant and Harvest Eogan’s Seeds
Upon interacting and mentioning Ruairc, he will give you a task of planting seeds. He will also provide you with Eogan’s Special Seeds. Choose one of the plots in the garden and sow the seeds. The plant will take 36 in-game hours to fully grow. Meanwhile, you can focus on other quests or simply pass the time at thebonfire. Once the plant is mature, interact with it to harvest Eogan’s Mysterious Root.
