John Wickstar Lance Reddick passed away at age 60 on Friday as confirmed by his representative. The actor reportedly died of natural causes, and Hollywood is mourning the loss of a great artist. Known for his roles in television, such asThe Wire,Fringe,Bosch, andLost, Reddick’s lengthy career and numerous projects in show business proved his artistic legacy.

Lance Reddick’s Co-Stars Paid Tribute To The Late Actor’s Tremendous Legacy

Lance Reddick’s friends in show business expressed their grief and shock at the actor’s passing. The outpour of love and sympathy flowed on social media, praising the actor and paying tribute to his contributions to the industry.

Wendall Pierce, his co-star inThe Wire, called Reddick “a man of great strength and grace.” He also added:

“As talented a musician as he was an actor. The epitome of class. A sudden unexpected sharp painful grief for our artistic family. An unimaginable suffering for his personal family and loved ones. Godspeed my friend. You made your mark here. RIP.”

Ian McShane, his co-star inJohn Wick, expressed his disbelief about the tragic news.

“Total shock and disbelief. Lance was a wonderful human being and a wonderful colleague. My deepest condolences, peace, and love to his wife, Stephanie, and all his family.”

An HBO spokesperson also acknowledged Reddick in a statement, saying the actor has been a part of the network for over 20 years starring in several remarkable roles. They also noted that the actor is held in the highest regard and he will be deeply missed by everyone.

Reddick is survived by his wife, Stephanie, and children, Yvonne Nicole, and Christopher.
