The world of small-screen entertainment has been growing at a rapid pace in the last couple of years, with new shows popping up left and right on a daily basis, which puts pressure on them to excel when it airs. But even before this great boom, MTV’sTeen Wolfseries was soaring high with its popularity up in the clouds during its run time.

The show, which had Tyler Hoechlin, Dylan O’Brien and many other upcoming stars as its cast was something that the young generation loved to watch, which also made the cast popular celebrities, which meant fame and fortune was bound to follow them. And although they may be receiving a healthy amount of monetary compensation for their time on the show as residuals, one star, in particular, is being virtually mocked by the production with his paycheck.
Stephen Ford Receives $0.10 As Residuals FromTeen Wolf
Ever since the release of the first season way back in 2011, MTV’s fantasy showTeen Wolfbecame one of the biggest series on the small-screen space of entertainment, all thanks to the fantasy theme mixed with a modern-day premise that made it both exciting and engaging at the same time. Therefore, even to this day, the love from the fans is what has kept the residual checks for stars likeTyler Hoechlinand Dylan O’Brien among others coming, although one star received a check that made it look like a joke.
In a recent post made on his X page,Stephen Ford, who played the role of Matt Daehler in the series, shared a picture that contained the image of a residual check he got from MTV for his contributions to the show. But what was shocking was the fact that the amount that was written on it was just $0.10, something that was hard to think about considering just how popular and successful the series still is.

After seeing the mockery that was being made of the star, many fans of the show were quick to bash the show’s discrimination against their stars as well as share their reactions.
wth… That is so infuriating, what can anyone buy with a dime? Makes me angry to see you (and others) treated like thatpic.twitter.com/qatzAB8Rzq

Cost more money to send the check.

It’s definitely not fair to all the actors that are getting residuals like this. Hope new contracts get written and approved by actors and studios that give much better residuals.

Many people are now demanding and advising the star to get new contracts made so that this cruel joke may not be repeated with him, or anyone else again.
