As Jamie Foxx recovered from a health condition after collapsing on the set of Netflix movieBack in Action, the actor found himself in yet another trouble. The actor was summoned by the New York Supreme Court following a lawsuit by a woman.

The woman alleged that the actor had sexually assaulted her which caused psychological distress. Foxx, however, denied the allegations and he will take strict legal action against the alleged victim.

Jane Doe Alleged Jamie Foxx of Sexual Assult

Jamie Foxx, legal name Eric Marlon Bishop has been accused of sexual misconduct as he allegedly placed his hands on the waist of a woman identified as Jane Doe.The lawsuitfrom the woman claims that the 55-year-old actor who recently recovered from his health condition, sexually assaulted her in 2015 at Catch NYC & Roof, a restaurant and rooftop bar in New York.

Allegedly, the Oscar-winning actor placed his hands on her waist saying“Wow, you have that supermodel body”and then moving into her tops. The actor is also accused of rubbing her breasts and dragging her to a secluded area on the rooftop of the restaurant claiming that he also touched other parts of her body.

As per the lawsuit, Foxx was intoxicated at the time and the incident happened when a friend of the alleged victim asked for a photograph with the actor. The lawsuit also included Catch and its employees for not acting at the scene.

Jamie Foxx Denied All The Allegations

Foxx representative commented on the recent lawsuit against the actor saying the incident never occurred.“The alleged incident never happened,”Foxx’s representative toldDeadlineof the lawsuit following the 2015 incident.“In 2020, this individual filed a nearly identical lawsuit in Brooklyn. That case was dismissed shortly thereafter,”the spokesperson added.

“The claims are no more viable today than they were then. We are confident they will be dismissed again. And once they are, Mr. Foxx intends to pursue a claim for malicious prosecution against this person and her attorneys for re-filing this frivolous action.”

Foxx’s representative further said that the actor will take legal action against such alleged atrocities. While writing the piece, the actor has not commented on the issue directly.
