What are Modules in The First Descendant?
Modules are crucial to the build crafting system in The First Descendant. They allow you to boost various stats to enhance your weapon and character’s damage, survivability, utility, or change how a skill functions altogether. Modules can be acquired through various sources from bosses, random loot drops, activity completion rewards, and combining duplicate modules.
However, you are limited with how many modules you may have equipped at any given point. This encourages more thought out builds to have a nice balance in all aspects of your desired usage. Also, not all modules are equal; some may be best for specific descendants (characters) or weapons, others will be crucial when leveling, and most are utilized in specific activities – in this guide we will explain and list the best options.
How to Enhance Modules?
To dismantle modules in the First Descendant, visit Silion, the Module Master in Albion and select Enhance modules. Each level of enhancement requires more Kuiper and Gold. Module strength becomes progressively stronger, so each level will see great gains. Moreover, you will experience increased module capacity with every upgrade except Transcendant Modules and Grapple/Dual Claw.
How to Dismantle Modules?
To dismantle modules in the First Descendant, visit Silion, the Module Master in Albion and select Dismantle modules. You can select individual or select all duplicate modules. Once you select the modules, press dismantle which rewards you with Kuiper.
How to Combine Modules

This will allow you to combine modules with a chance to create a new powerful or unobtained module. In fact, combine modules is the way you obtain certain powerful modules so consider spending gold to combine rather than dismantle.

How to Pick the Best Modules for Your Descendants?
Choosing the best Transcendent modules from such a long list for your Descendants and weapons involves considering several factors. Each module has a capacity cost, so you must keep that in mind when creating combinations and equipping your modules. Matching the module type with the slot type reduces the capacity cost, making your setup more efficient. As your character level and account Mastery Rank increase, your capacity to equip modules also improves. You can also use an ‘Energy Activator’ to increase max capacity once per Descendant or weapon. Mastery rank influences Descendant and weapon Modules.
Moreover, upgrading modules can significantly boost their effectiveness. Improve your modules through Module Master Silion in Albion. He can also help you combine or dismantle your mods. Destroying modules will give you a material called Keeper Shards.
