The Mirror published a report after talking to dating coach Katie Mansfield, who explained what is supposedly going on in Ben Affleck andJennifer Lopez‘s marriage. She said that the rose-tinted glasses have started coming off the marriage and now the two are experiencing reality. Mansfield stated:
“It seems like the Honeymoon period has ended, and the reality phase has begun! In relationships it generally takes 6-12 months to play out the rose-tinted versions of each other, and then after a year or so the reality of who the person really is creeps in.

The dating coach was informed that there were rumors aboutBen Affleckwanting a quiet life, but Lopez allegedly wasn’t interested in that. To this, Mansfield said that there could be a mismatch that could, later on, develop to be a deal breaker due to the pop star’s drive to become uber-successful. She said:
“It sounds like there is a significant mismatch in values and lifestyle vision here, while opposites can attract initially, the day-to-day need that Ben has for peace and quiet and downtime could be a deal breaker here. Often, the masculine qualities that hyper-successful women utilize to achieve fame and success, can cause a lot of issues in romance.”
So what’s the solution? As per Mansfield, the two need to slow down and reflect on their behaviors and habits so that they can fit their big personalities with each other. However, the dating coach stated that press comments about any Hollywood celebrity couple going through trouble need to be taken with a pinch of salt.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ben Affleck was asked about the infamous Grammy meme where the actor was looking drunk, tired, and bored at the music awards ceremony. TheJustice Leaguestar cleared up those rumors and said that he had a great time at the Grammys.

Affleck stated:
“I had a good time at the Grammys. My wife was going, and I thought, “Well, there’ll be good music. It might be fun… I saw [Grammy host Trevor Noah approach] and I was like, ‘Oh, God.’ They were framing us in this shot, but I didn’t know they were rolling. I leaned into her and I was like, ‘As soon they start rolling, I’m going to slide away from you and leave you sitting next to Trevor.’ She goes, ‘You better f**king not leave.’ That’s a husband-and-wife thing.'”
So looks can be deceiving and Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez could very well be doing fine in their marriage.
