Whitman’s experience as a pansexual.
While this is the first time Whitman has given her sexuality a name, it isn’t the first time she has spoken about her queerness. Whitman toldGlamourin 2014 that she liked people.
“I get along with everyone. Everyone I meet has so much wonderful potential, and there’s always something to learn from,” she said. “I think girls are attractive, boys are attractive, old people are attractive, young people are attractive — I think everything and everyone is attractive.”

Whitman mentioned that she had the advantage of growing up in a household where the same-sex attraction was completely normal. But, Whitman continued:
“I definitely have times where I’m attracted to girls or who I’m attracted to, and that should be the way it is.”
