While she herself hid behind a palm tree to look at the chaos, her dogs kept eating up the wedding cake and no one was able to stop them!

Sharing any and every life incident with the world, Hayek has plenty of stories to tell. Recalling the time when her dogs ate a wedding cake, the actress revealed in aninterviewhow the chaos unfolded right in front of her eyes while she was standing behind a palm tree at a wedding.
“Lupe loved cake more than anything in the world. And there’s a beautiful wedding, And what do I see, behind a palm tree I’m hiding, I see the beautiful wedding cake in a little table with two chairs for the bride and the groom. Instead of the bride and the groom, there is Lupe and Angie.”
She further continued,
“Everybody’s trying to get the dogs. This [is] what they would do. They’d like [imitates a dog eating] eat as fast as they could and then they would go [growls angrily] full of meringue! Full of meringue all over white and [started eating again].”
The actress ended the tale by saying how she had a specific whistle to recall her dogs and when she whistled, the dogs came rushing back to her.

Being a Mexican actress, Hayek has often struggled with speaking English fluently. With her accent coming in the way, the actress recalled another one of her stories when Ryan Reynolds mercilessly bullied her for her British accent in an interview withBBC Radio 1.
”Reynolds traumatized me. He thought I was terrible with my British accent. I did not think so. I thought I was a natural Brit and I said to him, ‘Ryan does it sound good?’ He said, ‘Just give it up, it’s 3 in the morning, I cannot help you with that, do I look like a miracle worker?’”
