While it initially seems like Ahsoka is in water, it’s later revealed that she is on a celestial walkway. It’s then that Ahsoka hears a known voice that says,“Hello, Snips,”which is a nickname she was given by her former mentor, Anakin Skywalker.
Anakin Skywalker returns because his students need him. Moreover, as previously revealed by Ahsoka, her training was left incomplete, hence to finish her training her master has returned.
