Chris Hemsworth Might No Longer Be at MCU’s Forefront Moving Forward

Following the reveal of the official cover for MCU’s upcoming timeline book, it appears Chris Hemsworth might be taking a backseat for the upcoming Multiverse narrative. The hardcover for the book, which will give fans a concrete understanding of the MCU’s timeline, involved Iron Man, Thanos, Shang-Chi, Captain Marvel, Falcon,Tom Hiddleston‘s Loki, and Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie.

Apart from RDJ and Thanos, the hardcover seems to give an overview of the upcoming MCU figures, which will lead the cinematic universe moving forward. And the absence of Chris Hemsworth seems to imply that his days of leading the Avengers as their strongest member might be nearing its end.

TheExtractionStar has been at the forefront of the MCU alongside Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr since Phase 1, and it appears Hemsworth is also looking forward to a grandeur exit like his peers. However, reflecting on his future as the iconic character, he did clarify about being open to playing the character as long as they had something new to offer.

“I don’t want to continue to do it until people are so exhausted that they roll their eyes when they see me come on the screen as that character,”said Hemsworth.“If an audience wants to see it, and if there’s something that we believe is exciting and fun, then great. I’ve loved being able to reinvent that character a few times.”
