No matter how big of a celebrity you may become, there is always a chance that a celebrity’s past has some of the most unconventional circumstances, including Bruce Lee. Before stars become famous, not everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouth. While some may have advantages, others do not. They can suffer financially or physically.

There is also a big chance for people to get into fights and be bullied in their childhood. Although Lee was a big celebrity, he did not have an easy childhood when it came to interacting with the people around him. He may be a martial arts legend, but at that time, he was an easy target for the bullies. However, he was not one to go down without a fight.

Bruce Leespent most of his life in Hong Kong. However, he was born in San Francisco. He was not someone who went through financial issues while growing up because his father was an opera singer and actor. There was a fair number of kids in his area who were English boys and they were not fond of him at all.
“I was a punk and went looking for fights,”he stated.“We used chains and pens with knives hidden inside. Then, one day, I wondered what would happen if I didn’t have my gang behind me if I got into a fight.”

They constantly bullied him and he was not one to back down. He would fight back with not only his fits but, knives as well. The actor even formed a street gang where they used chains and pens with hidden knives to deal with anyone who tried to mess with them. He got back at them so that not only would the bullies never attempt to mess with him, but no one else would either.

Bruce Lee Could Not Swim
Bruce Lee may be a fighter who no one could compare to, but he was afraid of swimming. Apparently, he got into a big fight with his sister, Phoebe Lee. Although it started off as an ordinary quarrel between siblings, it very quickly took a dark turn.
“I pulled him under the water he was [drinking] a lot of water,”his sister added.“He beat me up [and started] chasing me. My mother said ‘No! Don’t bully your sister.”

She held his head under the water for so long that he developed a lifelong fear of swimming and water. He also never learned how to ride a bike. This fight was one that neither sibling had expected to go as badly. However, he started chasing her until their mother interfered.
