In the wake of Boseman’s passing, his brother, Derrick Boseman, shared their last conversation, shedding light on the actor’s final moments. Derrick Boseman recalled how the21 Bridgesstar expressed his exhaustion from his battle against his disease and wished to end all this. TheMessage from the Kingactor’s brother shared that after being familiarized with his brother’s exhaustion and wish, he shifted his prayers, from seeking healing to accepting God’s will.
“[Chad said] ‘Man, I’m in the fourth quarter and I need you to get me out of the game.’ When he told me that, I changed my prayer from, ‘God heal him, God save him,’ to ‘God, let your will be done.’ And the next day he passed away.”
